i gave this movie 1 and carrie 8! this movie was suck and need to be bound to carrie remake!!

While I haven't seen this in years, the Carrie remake was alright. It just took way to long to get to the prom massacre and the whole bullying thing went way too far in some areas. I'd say this is better though.
shareWell, neither one was very good, but I thought this was better. It's irrelevant what RATING the OP gave them both if he's not going to even explain his reasoning.
There are major problems with "Carrie". First off, Chloe Moretz ALREADY looks like a prom queen, and she was also too young to do the shower scene, which is, for once, completely essential to the plot. The whole thing starts with "viral" footage of her tightly wrapped in a large beach towel (so there's no underage nudity) in a shower, bleeding from, uh, somewhere. Why would that go viral? I'd assume she just fell down in the shower and scraped her ass. And why would anybody try to "cyber-bully" somebody who doesn't know what the internet is?
Then Portia Doubleday and Gabrielle Wilde are such terrible actresses everything they do after that is unbelievable. The final scene uses more CGI than the original, but it is not surprisingly far less effective. Julianne Moore is good, but she couldn't save it.
There is nothing really wrong with this film. It just isn't a strong effort on anybody's part except for maybe Jackie Earle Haley. Rooney Mara totally phoned it in. She obviously wouldn't do another horror film, but imagine HER as "Carrie". Start with her butt-naked, hysterical, obviously menstruating and covered with tampons (which you just couldn't do with an underage Moretz). Now THAT would go viral. Then have her bullied by the "mean girls" because she IS attractive and their boyfriends are interested in her. She could also be internet-savvy even IF her mother is a religious loon.
Then you get better actresses like Juno Temple to be the "mean girls" and sell the whole revenge plot. I hate the "Carrie" remake, not because it is really that much worse than this or any other recent re-make, but it COULD have been much better than it is.
