Yeah, the big reveal of who the killer was is actually a pretty whirlwind out of left field, but then upon a few rewatches, you start to see the clues about it.

Very good whodunit mystery.

Right. It was definitely Nancy who was crazy and made up the Freddy character to serve as some kind of avatar for her murder spree.
