Paging David Lynch

As a huge fan of the original film, just dear FRECKing gad, what a tootin' shame that this remake exists. Truly a disgrace in nearly every sense.
I'd personally be content if the first ANoES, which is a masterpiece of sorts in my opinion, was the only one ever made.

However, I'd just be tom fiddlin' around if I said I didn't often fantasize about what David Lynch might do with a new installment. Of course it will never happen, but who else could even come close to expanding on the brilliance of the '84 klassik? Dreams.

Agreed..... Worst remake I've ever seen.... Ever..... Just awful on all counts.... At least Halloween wasn't boring and just about stands on it's own as a different take on an iconic story.... Texas chainsaw was pretty awful and needlessly flashy... Not to mention downright goody by the last half.... Friday the 13th was just too Hollywood... But this one... Ugh ugh ugh.... Drains all the artistry and suspense out of the original film and completely loses the surreal, gritty tone... Feels like a choppy music video.... And does nothing new with the story.... It offended me on every level.... No other remake has done that.... Not even Psycho. Just complete garbage.... Worthless.
