This sounds as stupid as turning johnny storm black for fantastic four. Honestly, Jackie earle Haley wasn't that bad. The script /directing could have been better

If they went that route, I'd nominate Giancarlo Esposito - The guys just oozes charisma and is always the highlight in whatever he does, and he can play one hell of a villain.
