How was it supposed to be?

I read online somewhere that the film was supposed to be a lot different than the finished product that we all saw. The studio ordered them to reshoot different parts and change a lot of scenes. Did anyone know what they changed or deleted?

Freddy in a body bag and a scene where a room is full of candals.

I would've loved to have seen the complete Pool party sequence seen in the trailer. As per the screenwriter very little of his script ended up in the final product. But a lot of movies end up very diffrent from the script during production.

The final script was an unholy chimera of nearly a dozen separate drafts by several different writers. The director admits he only really did the movie for the money, and many of the cast and crew have said the same. And of course the movie was shredded in post-production, with numerous reshoots and reedits. Oh did I mention the entire production was super-rushed, with constant on the fly rewrites?

Thomas Dekker who was in the film just did an interview saying the same thing. The director only did this for the money, he was a hired gun.
