The original was rented out so I got this to watch with my older kids being Halloween weekend at all. I started reading comments before trailers and hope I'm not making a mistake having them see this version. I may have to rent original so they can see Freddy's back story, as I've read they don't even show him making glove in this one.
Yep. Family Video. We have Hulu and Netflix and get get Amazon movies, and more I'm sure, on our Bluray, but I still like going to the video store. I can get the opinions of the workers, besides checking online or IMDb ratings. The company is actually growing, surprisingly. We rented the new Star Trek Bluray for a buck.
That's good to hear. I would love video stores that focus on what they love rather than what's new. If they're Sci-Fi geeks I'd be interested in seeing what kind of Sci-Fi movies they recommend. A store that focuses on horror would be the most interesting for me. It'd be tough to stay in business though as most customers just want to watch the latest movies, even if they are crap.
