This was the dumbest remake ever shifty cast and it was a waste of money

I agree. It felt like it was a needless remake without ideas or how to protray really scary situations

The original Elm Street is a stone cold classic...very big shoes to fill, and this movie was an empty shell of an imitator.

It was completely humourless and dour the whole time, which I think was a mistake. The original had a perfect balance of humour and tension, which is why it's so good to return to.

You havr some people say this freddy was much scarier and all that mess but in my opinion re had it right joking before he made his kill to show he enjoyed his work
