Looks and sounds sensational. The film is being described as '80s noir, retro cool and channelling John Carpenter, etc. But the film-making looks sharp and very contemporary. What an acting line-up! This may just end up being my favorite film of the year.

Looks really cool! I love the 80s style music they used. Reminds me of Drive, where they used Kavinsky. It made for a really great atmosphere.
shareYeah, I got a Drive vibe too. Though this feels very different at the same time, maybe because the setting and the characters are so Southern fried. Three reasons I'm really stoked about this - one, Mickle has never made a bad movie and this one's getting even more praise... two, the cast is outta sight.... and three, this feels like pure Americana. Barring McConnaughey's projects we haven't been getting enough of that.
