What a great film. I knew nothing about it whatsoever, just saw it online and the plot and cast sounded interesting and blind-watched it.
Right from the opening scene I could tell it was going to be great. Cinematography, colour tones and lighting was was amazing. I'm not usually the type of person who's going to rave about lighting, but it was noticeably way above the level of most films these days. There were no wasted/lazy shots at all, you could tell a lot planning went into eveb the simplest shots.
Soundtrack/score was great and really added that 80s John Carpenter vibe to it.
Had this Cape Fear meets No Country For Old Men meets 8mm vibe to it.
Really enjoyed it. 9/10.
