Ha,... I know right. Really doesn't have a lot in common.

Why does everything have to be "the next" anything. Why not just say it's gonna be a cool flick?

I was just going to say that The_ManWithNoName. There is a Drive feel to it but it's way different.

I was actually thinking the same exact thing mainly due to the coolness factor of it and how both films were labeled as 'pulp thrillers' except for "Cold in July" is a superior movie story-wise and in terms of cinematography and has better performances especially by MCH.

Better than drive, but both heavily influenced by the 80s.

While I was watching this, one of the first things I thought of was Drive, mainly because the music and how dark and quiet the film is.

I enjoyed this film, but nowhere near as much as Cold in July.

Wasnt better than Drive...far from it...it was decent all the way until two hardcore old school military seniors takes a lame scared frame worker along on a kill ride...such a lame book if this is based off a book...
