One plot issue.

Would law enforcement really kill a vengeful father, one they have in custody and will soon prosecute for home invasion, assaulting a police officer ect, just to protect a witness? How were they gonna explain that he escaped from custody, after telling everyone he was caught somewhere else, got wasted and stumbled onto some train tracks? The body wont be hard to identify with finger prints and dental records, even if it gets mangled by the train. That whole police sub-plot felt unresolved.

Totally agree. But this is only one of many unbelievable/questionable plot elements. I still enjoyed the movie though. You just have to suspend disbelief and go with the flow.

But ultimately, it's the plot that prevents it from being a great movie. It's merely a good one.

well this movie was just awful...so many implausible scenes...great way to ruin three very good actors.
