Better than the terrible one poor Micheal was trying to pull off...why do they still insist on trying to do the southern accent...and then do it so poorly...very distracting...

He does a pretty good Texas accent. He also has a southern accent in real life. The dude is from North Carolina.

It sounds forced to me like a very fake in trying hard to do a southern accent, don't get me wrong I love him...I have followed his career forever...and it seems he's tried hard and been very successful in losing his North Carolina accent...I hear no trace of it...

Texas accents were not bad in this film. You can't hold a Texas drawl up against a southern accent for comparison. They are entirely different. Too many actors screw up trying to make the drawl "southern".
