I've yet to see a "walk in the woods" but I did see Martin Sheen in "the Walk" and that I found a very fun and heartwarming movie with plenty of adult laughs.
Is "A Walk in the Woods" even close to it in the way "the Walk" made you feel ??

The Walk is FAR better. They did a great job. Robert Redford seemed out of touch with this movie.

Hmmmm, I think he was just a quiet kind of character but he did have a sense of humor!! Very dry but funny. Like in the beginning, his answer to the talk show host, "what are you going to do next, become an alcoholic or kill youself? And he answered, After this interview, maybe both!!!! Just great!

Unless I'm just mistaken, the Sheen film is called "The Way". I'm not trying to take you to task or anything, just, you got that part wrong.

You are not mistaken. The Way movie is a "walk" by pilgrims to the cathedral of Santiago (Saint James, in english), located in the Spain's region of Galicia.
The Walk in the woods is a walk through the Appalachian Trail in USA.
