I'm aware that this movie will never come out in Italy. But is it Wainstein fault that Agt is still without a distribution date in Uk and Europe? They have demaged this movie in all sort of ways. I would at least like to buy the dvd because I waited one year to see it. Anybody knows?
shareJust bought the region 1 DVD as can't be arsed to wait for the Weinsteins to pull their finger out. Don't understand why they didn't give this a proper release stateside or here in the UK/Europe - it's got a great cast, a strong story - surely it would have made box office $s ...? shareTo my knowledge the Weinsteins held on to the international rights (after selling the domestic rights back to Jarecki who subsequently sold them on to Magnolia). Given their willingness to let the rights go plus how they dragged their feet in the first place, I wouldn't expect an international release anytime soon especially not in cinemas. That's just my two cents - I could well be wrong ...
It's a shame because I would have happily parted with £s to see this in the cinema.
