Hipster esthetic is ugly, but the actors look fine. It's just costume makeup and hair.

The movie is shit though.

She looks like a depressed teen in this. That seems reasonable. I just don't care for high waist jeans. It reminds me of the early 90's too much.

It used to be a joke. Now it's fashion.
