Actually takes it easy on Dubya by not mentioning the coke

This movie perfectly captures the dim-witted bluster, childish need to prove himself and stupidity that got us forever ensnared in a trillions-wasting involvement in the Middle East, but Stone doesn't even bring up the cocaine use that Dubya was probably addicted to in the late '70s/early '80s. Probably a threat of legal action made him tip-toe around that one, but no matter. This is a portrait for the ages of the most insipid, buffoonish president ever to be handed the office by his father's cronies. Hail Stone, and hail W.

JFK was an urgent piece about a conspiracy to murder an iconic president.

W. is just meant to show a connected moron who stumbled his way into being president.

You think he was in on the Iran-Contra conspiracy? Maybe even the Franklin Credit Union business?

My car is fast, my teeth is shiny, I tell all the girls they can kiss my heinie!

You kidding me? The whole f*|^}~#g movie takes it easy on him. It's Pro Bush propaganda

reply

Stone is not pro-Bush. But he wants to avoid a "JFK"-style backlash, so "W" wound up whimsical. So, yes, it takes it way easy on Bush.

And it has nothing to do with cocaine.

He had to have still been snorting coke and still getting drunk when he was in the WH.

How else do you explain his behavior and how he was such a klutz.

Choking on a pretzel? Yeah right. He fell down drunk and/or stoned on cocaine.
