This is extremely bad taste casting a white man as the lead. It blows my mind how narrow minded the producers are. Chris Pratt should have known better and offered the role to a black man or even better a black woman.
The audience wants negro leads, or negros with white woman as GF or wife. I like the show but this is out dated. In 2022 we need more black and black female leads in TV & film.
That's just dumb. Like him or not, but you should not cast based on color unless the role specifically calls for it. I think Pratt did a good job and that's all that counts. I wouldn't care if the role had gone to a black man or asian or purple for all I care. Neither should you.
