Subs?
Could someone tell me where I could find the subs for the movie? The ones I've got are all incomplete, which is quite annoying. Thanks! :)

shareIf you're talking about Tamara's dialogue, I think that was intentional on the writer's part.
Now I know the writers have no say in how the film is subtitled for English markets, but since she wasn't a natural German speaker, it would only make sense for her dialogue to be broken looking/sounding.
I have a message for Germany...
Thanks. The subs for the first few minutes until the couple go into the shower are completely missing, but the conversation on the bed are subbed (I stopped watching there). Maybe there's only bad subs around yet. If the missing part was intentional, couldn't it be rather annoying for some non-German speakers because they can't tell how broken one of the character's German is in the first place? Hmmm...
shareShe speaks russian at the very beginning.
sharelol I had no idea who the character was the other poster was talking about . Did they have subs for the part in the theater? I'd like to know if I should search for better subs before watching the rest of the movie.
shareThe first 5 minutes or so aren't subbed in American theaters at least. I'm pretty sure this is intentional and if she is indeed speaking Russian, it was likely also unsubbed in German when released in Germany. The rest of the film is subbed fine but Tamara's parts are subbed in broken English because I'm assuming she speaks broken German.
shareThank you for the info! I still don't know who Tamara is and I'am a bit worried about the part, but I'll start watching the movie with the subs in hand. Thanks again. :)
