I watched the movie until i reached the part when the policeman shot Tanmara. I couldn't watch no more further because i couldn't understand how could he possibly shoot her. Didn't that spoil anyone's impression of the movie? in my opinion, the scene was very unrealistic.

I don't see the problem: cop shoots at the car and some of the bullets (two I think) ended up in Tamara... Cars are not as bulletproof as Hollywood would like us to think they are, in fact the only thing that is slightly bulletproof in a car is the engine (and not 100%), e.g. tires are not. I think there's a Mythbusters episode about this :-)
Also from the scene at the shooting range, we know he's quite a good shooter. Of course, his official statement was that he aimed at the tires, but in the heat of the moment, he was instinctively aiming at the cabin/passengers.
