Brief thoughts on The Company Men

In short: Most of the characters are underdeveloped. It is unclear if Robert Walker deserved to keep his job (on the basis of performance) in the first place. The criticism of the modern corporate model of success is so weak as to allow the viewer to think that it may be acceptable. Maybe people who are wholly financially and personally successful are the wrong people to write/portray the truly desperate.
