Jack's workers
Did anyone else think Jack's workers could have repaid Jack with a day of free labour like Bobby and Danny did? One of them knew that Jack had underbid on the job they were doing to keep them working through the winter. Jack justified this by saying it all works out in the end.
I like the fact that Bobby and Danny appreciated this and worked for Jack for nothing one day. The other men didn't do this.
When I said I wanted to be a comedian, they all laughed at me. Well, they're not laughing now!
