glad i didn't pay to see this
it's on tv tonight. what a long, boring film. all that extra filler material and idiotic dialogue they added only made it worse.

Oddly, one of the things that irritates me about Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy is that we don't get a good sense for how long it took for the story to play out. Weeks seem like days and months seem like weeks (or only a few more days).
