Anti-revolutionary propoganda

I think the only way this film was made was to discredit itself before anyone actually got to the meat and bones. Only watch part III. Nothing I hadn't heard before, but very informative nonetheless. If you can handle that, then maybe Part II is for you. While at least 80% of Part III is fact, and the rest is at least based on something, Part II goes into some speculative situations. A lot of what is said is probably true, but can't be proven.

Part I is absolutely irrelevant. And not only is it irrelevant, but the first 10 minutes seem to say "hey stoner, wanna free your mind? Check out these trippy visuals and listen to me talk about stuff that will seem cool to you". It was nearly enough to make me turn the movie off, and I take a puff from time to time. I was highly disappointed seeing the rating and expecting a coherent documentary.

But I left it on and let the movie ramble. "Hey, do you believe in this religion? Well let me piss you off. Oh, that didn't work? Well how about this, does this piss you off yet?". I am agnostic, but I was still about ready to turn this nonsense off. Then it got into the 9/11 stuff. Now, I feel that I was not told the truth about 9/11, but to explore every possibility and spend so much time on it seems like once again the film was trying to discredit itself. Like it was trying to make itself sound like a crazy conspiracy theory, so if the religious babble didn't turn you off then this certainly should.

However, if you can make it through all that (I recommend skipping) Part III has a lot to offer. I still think America: Freedom To Fascism (done by Mr. Aaron Russo himself) has a lot more to offer, but Part III of this "documentary" gets down to the nitty gritty and has a lot of facts that most Americans don't know and should hear. Hell, most likely most people in the world don't know and should hear.

But it seems like the film was made so people like myself will sit through it, and tell other people to watch. So that it will show up in your recommendations on IMDB. So that you may come across it in the video store and say "hey maybe the government isn't telling the truth" and then pop it in the DVD player and wonder what the hell the absolute nonsense you're watching is, then turn it off and discredit the movement on continue to vote dem/rep as if that's ever going to make a difference. I've read a lot and watched a lot of documentaries, but if I hadn't been watching it with a friend so we could laugh through the first hour, I never would have seen Part III. And like I said before, that part is well worth the watch.

So....... VIVA LA REVOLUCION!! No viva the first 2 parts of this film, they were awful.
