I have got to just before the end of the religion section in this movie and was just wondering if anybody had any insight into why the mythology of islam is not included when comparing the similarities between all of the world's religions? to me, Islam is much more parallel to Christianity than many of the others mentioned

I wouldn't say that Muslims adhere to Jesus. They recognize him as one of the prophets but they do not follow his teachings or consider him divine. He is on the same level as Moses and Muhammad but his original message no longer exists, according to them, hence the need for Muhammad to update it.
This is probably the reason that the movie doesn't tackle Islam. Islam states itself that the religion (or the faith in one God, which dates back to Adam and Eve) has consistently become corrupted, requiring all the thousands of prophets to promote the original message and remove additions.
Muslims consider Jezus (Isa) delivering the same message of monotheism as Abraham (the first) and Mohamed (the last) did. Your statement that Jezus his original message does not exist anymore is false since it is simply the same message of monotheism of Abraham.
shareIf you want to get clever and technical about it, sure, technically the core of his message is not lost. The point though is that his complete message or teachings were Not preserved, according to Muslims, hence the rejection of most of what Christians consider to be from Jesus. Muslims don't consider him the son of God or the bible to be his true message.

probably because when most peopel in America think of the word "Religion" they just mean Christianity, and dont think fo any other.
Also, pleaee don't buy intop this rot. The parrallels between jesus' Life, past Saviour gods, and the Sun is fake. Horus didn't lead a life similar to Jeus andneither did Mithras, nro any of the others mentioend, and the Sun doesnt move as stated in this film.
