I liked Jacques Fresco, until I found out he isn't vegan.

Seriously? Jacques Fresco always talks about global warming. What kind of moron presents a possible solution to a problem, whilst directly contributing to it's leading cause? 

Anyone who claims to care about the environment, saving our natural resources, etc. and is not vegan needs to pull their obnoxiously large heads out of their butts...

CLUE: Non-vegan "environmentalists" sounds about as stupid as "non-racist" slave-owners. Riiiiiiight.

From this point forward, anything Fresco says will go in one ear and out the other for me. The man is a fraud.

I'm wildly disappointed in the complete idiocy of this man.

Thou shall not feed the troll.

You think meat production/factory farming isn't directly linked to global warming?

Enlighten me, then.

reply

Yeah because every person who is not a vegan can only eat meat poultry and fish that is factory farmed / mass produced.

Please let the sarcasm absorb in you before respond and sound foolish.

reply

They have to farm, produce, ship vegetables too.

I'm....I'm...doing something in here.

I totally agree with you. The only way to save the planet at this point is to adopt a vegan diet. For the person who talked about not eating factory farm products- you realize animals still produce pollution no matter where they live right? Also only 2% of animal products come from places that are not "factory farms."

Here are some facts to back up the fact that going vegan is the only viable solution: http://www.cowspiracy.com/facts/

I am intrested in this subject but just havent read too much and I'm really not being a smart as$.

Can you explain your point.
Is it because the animals contribute greenhouse gasses or is it the farming required to feed said animal?

Thanks

Power plant and transportation sector emissions are a way more serious problem. And of course the denial of climate change altogether by potential US presidential candidates.
