What happened to the baby? Did it burst out of the mother's womb and then die?
The movie wasn't too clear on anything except the fact that they both died. Someone comments that, as her hands were tied down, Rosaria could not have killed the baby. That R. supposedly died of blood loss was poorly depicted given what was shown. I won't be graphic, but I once came to following surgery to multiple times such loss - and here I am.
