Colin O'Donoghue Ruined the Movie

He never remotely for one minute convinced me that he was a seminarian. He has all the screen presence of a potted plant. He has about three basic expressions, of which two of them involve making 'bedroom eyes' at everyone and everything. His heavy, complex 'back-story' of the mother, the father, the mortuary... not for a minute did he convey any of that dark, brooding past. The idea of him exorcising the devil from Anthony Hopkins is ludicrous - especially when he 'commands' the devil to tell his name - sounds like he is having a hissy fit.

She could afford to be bad but not the central character in the film!

I liked him well enough this being the first and movie I've seen him in.

He has the perfect Name Colin sort of like Collin Ferrell. The same stupid look throughout the movie, as well as a monotone voice.f As fat are concerned, it is about as scary and shocking as 'Casper The Friendly Ghost and 'Scooby Doo' if not for Anthony Hopkinsand some very hot women like Alice Braga this movie would suck.

As far as scares are concerned, it is about as scary and shocking as 'Casper The Friendly Ghost and 'Scooby Doo' if not for Anthony Hopkins and some very hot women like Alice Braga this movie would suck.

Wow. What an inane thread. If anything his facial expression was generally disgust in the face of superstition. Where were these "bedroom eyes?" He was indifferent...even to Miss "lickety split". He was perfect in this role, and guess what? That's why he got the role by film casters who are pros .

He sucks. I was OK, until the part in rain, then we get to see pouty look, the luscious lipssss, bedroom eyes. At least there was a joke later on about that.
