Never understood why Hollywood pushed her on us. I don't like her. Her inclusion in this new Dune is a bummer. Who knows, maybe she'll change my mind with this ... but I doubt it. It is like Hollywood decided to grant her stardom as compensation in the wake of the Fashion Police "scandal."

She's a terrible actress that's gonna stick out like a sore thumb surrounded by a cast filled with great actors.

I was skeptical. But, if Villenueve signs off on it I trust his decision. In any case, she probably won't even be in Dune part 1. She'll become a more important character in part 2 which is ~4 years off from now.
