Hilarious! Steve 'Lips' Kudlow is a retard

Hahahahaha. Seriously, did anyone else find the whole documentary so funny that it's really sad?

It's a band of 50 year old kids ignoring everything around them, yet expecting to be recognized and still become rich and famous.

Obviously, Steve 'Lips' Kudlow has no self-awareness of any sort. This "documentary" (if it seriously is a documentary and not a comedy) exposes the band to their retarded roots and decisions.

This isn't a negative review, I love this film! It's hilarious!!

My thoughts on the band:
Awesome drummer, good musicians, horrible lyrics, horrible songs, no self-awareness for any aspect of the band or their own music.

Anyone agree or what?

Did you even see the first 10 minutes of the movie?

Calling Lips retarded is an insult to retarded people. Lips was delusional. I remember when he was talking about being discovered by a record label. I can't imagine record labels want 50 year old no hit wonders. I do admire his perseverance. I think he said he was afraid to take a break from Anvil because they might not get back together. That makes a lot of sense. I didn't think Robb was negative. He just seemed really burnt. I was a little surprised Lips couldn't find a day job that was related to music. If I walked into a music store and saw Lips working in the guitar department I would be totally stoked.

Sad are those who try but fail.
Sadder still are those who dream and never try.
Saddest of all are those who never had a dream.

Belittling somebody for trying just might put you into one of these categories. Ever try celebrating somebody's efforts instead of tearing them down? What does it say about you?

Anvil has drive and they persevered through events that would've made many others give up. Even if they had utterly failed they had integrity. They had heart and courage. They showed naysayers that it could be done. It's enough that the members can look themselves in the mirror and know they gave their all. How many of us can honestly do that?
