Ian Dickson & Dave Allison...Suprised they have not come out of the woodworks with all the high praises this film is getting...
I even doubt they were asked to AT LEAST be interviewed.

They were both asked to be interviewed and Ian in fact was. He was also at the 50th birthday gig for Lips.

I think Dave wanted money. There is Ian footage but it never made it. There was an interview plus he joined the band on stage and played for the first time in many years.
I FINALLY saw the flick myself this weekend. Awesome.
I would have liked to hear more from the ex members as well

I would have liked to have seen that as well. Original bassist Ian Dickson was interviewed and filmed playing with them in 2005 or 2006 for one song. None of that footage was used. (Neither was mine :( )
Hopefully the DVD will include some of that as bonus material.

I would have rather seen former members of Anvil than phonies like Lars Ulrich and Slash rave about the band.
