robb's sister = biatch

i couldn't believe how cold she was, it was disgusting. that scene where shes saying how over his brother's dream is, couldn't stand that b****. to do what he does takes so much dedication and guts, and she snidely puts him down - on camera! i could attack her on a superficial level, because i feel like doing so.. but thats pretty lame and beneath us. thats my rant.

But the dream was over. At least in terms of making it big like that. It may have come across as harsh but it is the truth. They were chasing ghosts at that point and putting their families and themselves through unneccessary torture.

Eventually the nostalgia will wear off.

What's wrong with doing what you love even if you don't make money? People have all sorts of interests and hobbies that COST money.....why can't music be one of them?

reply

theres a difference between pursuing your dreams, whatever the costs are,
if you are living alone or just have a girlfriend.

But a guy who has a wife, kids and a house,
and risks to lose all his money, house, gives up his job and so on,
just for a slim chance of success, puts some huge pressure on his family, which is not ok.

reply

Yep, that is exactly the point. She was being a realist. There's nothing wrong with pursuing your dreams, but not at the expense of your family.

reply

well it is over, even with the documentary out they still aren't in a different position. 30 years and none of the fame they are chasing.

@nek-5 "...it's a joke. It's a joke." And her brother's wife was sitting right next to her! Total bitch.

I liked Robb's wife. She was hot. Were his wife and sister close? It seemed that they were.
