I wonder if they'll mention Marta and the Thrombeys at all. Just a few lines or a glimpse of an article saying what happened to them. Would be cool.

Also wonder if in say #10 Ransom escapes prison and returns as the villain

unfortunately it says it has no connection to the first movie because its a new mystery smh! hate when they do this with sequels!
