Grocery store scene
How could the girls be in the storeroom with an unlocked door and the zombies didn't seem to notice that they are there? Can't zombies smell the living?

shareYes, and for that matter, how would the lights still be on in the store and other places in their travels? If they were the only non-zombie people left, who's running the power plants and everything needed to keep the power grid up? In reality, the electricity would go off pretty quickly if no one was maintaining the grid, which also means they wouldn't be able to refuel from gas stations since electricity is needed to run the pumps. There'd be more gasoline than you'd ever need in underground storage tanks but you wouldn't be able to get to it without power. To get anywhere by automobile, you'd have to keep switching cars every time you got low on gas, and you'd be able to go only as far as the gas in the tank would take you.
Then again, it's a zombie comedy movie, so I doubt they were overly concerned with plot holes.
