Is nobody even going to comment on how "Anaconda" is rated PG-13?

Seriously..

reply

I came to this board to see if anyone else noticed. I was like wtf, but Anaconda is PG-13. Was that a serious mistake, or maybe they thought it was funnier if she gave a clueless answer.

Incidentally, I also felt like Zombieland could pass for a PG-13--there's really not that much gore. I guess it had a few eff-bombs, but still...

I think it at least has to have the R rating to be able to say the F word.

Can have 1 *beep* for PG-13, sometimes exceptions are made I think.

You feel your personal liberties were somehow infringed upon over the rating a movie received? Really? You're comparing this to communism? Which is actually in and of itself not a bad thing. It's just use it in reference to countries which were anything but communist such as the USSR (a military dictatorship ran by a despot)
The only way the rating would affect you was if you were under the age of 18. If you want to talk about personal liberties and the law which arbitrarily states you're a minor when you're 6551 days old but suddenly an adult at 6552 then that's a whole different can of worms.

Btw, it's not the communists/socialist/liberal elitists that are the problem with that either. It's the socially conservative activists on the right which want to turn this into some sort of fascist theocracy whining about how their children are being exposed to to much violence/sex/whatever else.

That's my signature and a reference to Clue you ignorant twat.

reply

oh that changes everything.
you're not whining about politics, my bad. you're whining about the ratings board who have somehow infringed upon your liberties and deprived you of watching this movie.....Oh wait, point still stands. You're still a whiner. You're still whining about the ratings of a movie. You're still some poor suffering little heart who thinks that big old rated R means it was some kind of attack against you or a movie....
Yeah, sorry about bringing your politics into it. It should have stayed on topic and focused on your personality.

reply

No, I'm not you dumbass, I was telling someone that you can have one or two uses of the word *beep* and depending on the context, it might be one or it might be two. I couldn't care less if Anaconda was rated G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, or whatever the *beep* else. What in god's name would make you think I gave a *beep* And why are you so frustrated with the idea that someone does? It doesn't infringe on anyone's personal liberties to make a movie rated R or PG-13. Who gives a *beep* Why do you? *beep* off you stupid *beep*. And the law would only affect you if you were under seventeen. R means under 17 can't see it. If you're going to be a *beep* retard at least do a little research.

I think I figured it, you're too stupid to realize that I'm not OP. Well, I'm not.

The way it used to be was you could use one F bomb in a PG-13 movie but it couldn't be used in a sexual way. It may or may not be less strict now because I'm pretty sure it might be three now.

reply

They change the rules all the time. Probably different now.

reply

Yes, I've definitely seen a few PG-13 movies that use more than one. Lakeview Terrace is a notable one. They use two in total, one right after the other.
