I know what you thought,but I like it.
Same reason the guys don't look like Grizzly Adams or Harry Knowles. They are actors and we don't want them looking like death warmed over.
shareThe difference is this: a good razor lasts a while, whereas you need to constantly stock up on makeup (a far more consumable product).

You'd be surprised how long a black liner can work for you. probably more than a razor. And stocking up is hardly the term, is not difficult to keep 2 or 3 stuff that don't actually expire.
On the other side, I've been thinking about her makeup too and I think that, besides using makeup because she herself likes it, their lives still rely on conning other people, even though not so often. So she's using every charm she can.
I change out my razors a LOT quicker than I change out my makeup. I think that even if I used the same color lipstick every single day, it would take a good 6 months to go through a single tube.
shareI was not referring to a disposal razor that most modern people shave with if they don't elect to utilize a shaving machine. I was referring to a straight razor.

I kinda thought it made her look dirty. Like she hadn't washed her face in weeks. She does say she hasn't had a shower in a long time. In zombie land there isn't running water and hot water.
shareWell exactly, why would she bother unless she wants to impress the odd guy she bumps into every 6 months or so. I guess even in post apocalyptic zombie infested times, a woman must look sexy and pleasing to the eye.
shareAlso remember that when they meet the two there performing a con on them. It's probably a lot easier to con 2 guys looking sexy and beautiful than it is to look drab and tired hence the make up.
