That really bothered me that they used that line in the movie..Out of all the R-rated movies in 1997 they chose the one movie that was PG-13..a simple google search could have helped the writers.
shareActually in 1997 when it came out in theatres it WAS rated R for some reason. I remember because I had to get my grandpa to take me, I was 15. It wasn't until it was released on dvd/video that it was pg-13. Hope that helps ease some of your frustration lol.

shareWell, I just turned 33 in July and I believe Jesse Eisenberg is the same age and Emma Stone is about 28 in real life and I imagine that they were playing characters of about the same age. Zombieland came out in 2009 as well which was 7 years ago and I was around 24-25 they would have been around the same age too so they would have been between the ages of 11-15 when Anaconda came out in 1997. It was rated R when it was released in theatres I remember it clearly I also remember that it was changed to a 14A or PG-13 rating when it came to home video.
