What was YOUR 1st R rated movie? Continued.

Hey once again! I posted this about a year ago, but it vanished on me so I guess I'll start it again! My first R was The Lost Boys I think. I used to hate it, but I recently re-discovered it and now it's one of my fave movies of all-time. Anyway, what was yours?

reply

My first r rated cinema movie was total recall when I was 6!!!

reply

who the hell! let you watch total recall when you were 6!

reply

Dude, that is like me exactly. I saw Total Recall as my first R rated movie at the age of 6 as well. My brother took me and the only part he would not allow me to see was the 3 boobed chick.

Haters gonna hate

The first R-rated film I saw must Speed.

The first R rated film I saw in theaters I think was Team America, I was 14 and saw it with my mom.

Smokey: Today your birthday?
Ezal: What's today?

reply

Yikes, you people are sooooo young! Mine was Death Wish, in the theater, when I was 10. My mom tried to cover my eyes during the horrific rape scene, but failed. I was scarred for life!

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

Can't remember what exactly my first R-rated movie was. Can't remember my parents being too strict about it.

But the first movie with which I thought "maby i'm not supposed to watch this" was braveheart when I just turned 8.. Some pretty intense scenes for an 8 year old. Still one of my favorite movies though.

reply

Mine was The Exorcist.

My mother is a huge horror film fan, so one time I walked in on her watching it- I think I was around 8, she wasn't too strict but she would tell me to cover my eyes if it was too horrific for me- and was mentally scarred for sometime until I was older to actually watch it and understand fully what the film was about, and why the girl was acting the way she was.

Mine as well!

My mom never tried to shield me from R rated films, she always watched horror, so I saw quite a bit growing up. I remember the Exorcist was one of the first vhs tapes I ever picked out myself and almost crapped my 8 year old pants once it was finished.

What did you have for dinner? Was it cocaine?
