Bob Dylan culturally appropriated the music of rural and Western Americans of Anglo-Saxon descent.

shareYou sound like Woody Guthrie who was a cultural bigot and snob! If someone was a "city boy/girl" or "college bred" they weren't part of THE PEOPLE and couldn't sing folk music. Woody included legend Pete Seeger "born in New York City" and Ronnie Gilbert, also born in New York, who Woody accused of being a virgin who didn't know about life, as being unqualified to sing folk music. It didn't stop them from turning in some of the most brilliant performances in folk history. Also, does everyone from the British Isles qualify as so much folk music comes from there, or only rural dwellers?
