so what exactly was his dream...

i see a lot of posters justify this by saying he achieved his dream which was creative unlike our average dreams..of become successful or rich or living in a house.

heres my question.

was his dream to walk between the 2 towers or was his dream to walk between the 2 towers and become famous...since he clearly abandoned his friends after his little stunt and has not done any other stunts after the wtc stunt...

he clearly wanted to become famous..

so what was his dream?

To walk between the wires! No way he did it just for fame. He wanted to do this before the towers were even built.

He did not abandon his friends and has done plenty of other walks since WTC. I think his dream was to walk between the towers and to hopefully inspire people with it.

He may have enjoyed the fruits of fame post event, but to say that was his main motivation is cynical in the extreme.

I think he done it because he is immensely talented and that was the ultimate test of his abilities, also it's ultra cool; from the heist like planning to the act itself. And lets not forget that it was a beautiful performance. If I could do it I would.

Sometimes people dream of doing something that most think of as unheard of. Something that's never been done before and will never be done again.
