The fact of the matter is, he is a TERRIBLE filmmaker, if you want to call him that. He is completely full of himself, and deems his critics (the world) morons incapable of comprehending the "depth" of his "movies".
Sure, there's others out there who do just as bad of a job, sometimes worse, but none with the astounding ego and lack of respect this douche bag has. When I'd rather watch a Sci Fi original feature film than a theatrical release, it's sure saying something about that theatrical release. Whether we're "harsh" on Boll or not does not suddenly make his films any better or deserving of praise, and the last thing I'm going to do is suddenly cop out and say "oh, well, everyone's being a big meanie to him, so I should stop because he has it so hard." If he wasn't such an ass whole, he certainly wouldn't deserve the bashing, but he is an ass hole, a complete *beep* egomaniacal piece of talentless trash. He buys out the rights to pre-made ideas, and completely trashes any dignity, however small, that those ideas previously held.
You are trash Uwe Boll. You are the hair on a diseased pimple in a dead cow's decaying ass hole. Stop making films, and go play in traffic you *beep* disgrace to cinema.

Boll will be remembered as a great exploitation filmmaker - like Fulci or Rollin - whether you like it or not. All the hate he gets will only reinforce his reputation. He's not a terrible filmmaker – a terrible filmmaker could never direct something like Seed or Stoic or Tunnel Rats – he's merely a director you don't like (like countless others no doubt).
All arrogance aside, I'm the only person on these Boll boards who actually understands film, watches a lot of it, can give you an in-depth analysis of everything from Godard to Argento to Miike, and can actually articulate my ideas and opinions like someone with a reasonable intelligence. If more people like me could get past the constant chants of "Boll sucks" from people like you, they'd see what a nonsense the majority of these Boll criticisms really are.
