Why the unwatchable fish eye photography?

Ugly and distracting.
What was the choice there?
We live in an acquarium?

I wonder the same thing. Did he ever talk about why he made that choice?

I think he was trying something different, but I do not see how it fits this particular film.
I also would like to hear from him, what was the choice here.

I came here because of exactly the same question! This movie is hard to watch because of the fisheye, i always thought i have broken my TV.
