HELP!!!! PS3 System Autosave! HELP!!!!

I'm really having trouble loading what I've saved. I don't even think it saved anything!

See, I bought this game for the PS3. I'm not sure if it fully installed because the system restarted before it reached 100 percent. I played a few of the chapters and it seemed to work fine! Then after a few hours of gameplay, I switched it off. After I was rested, I turned it back on.

Y'know the Career Menu of the game where it's supposed to say Continue Game, New Game or Chapter Select? All it says is New Game.

WTF???

Did this happen with anybody else? What's going on here?

I know it's not my system, because I bought Clive Barker's Jericho after Ghostbusters, installed it and that game works fine!

Can anybody help me? What am I doing wrong?
