In the graveyard, after I set the boulder rolling, the cutscene freezes the Playstation so that I have to switch it off. Tried two different CDs, same problem. Anybody else experience this? Or is it just my old, non-slim PS2?

You're not the only one. All the PS2 copies(even bootlegs) tend to freeze during play. I hear one tip is to stare at the ground. Also don't skip the cut-scenes.

In my original post I say my version freezes during a cutscene. Hard to stare at the ground during a cutscene, and it's hard to skip something you're specifically not skipping.
But, I appreciate your help anyway. I traded it in for the identical PSP version.

It never stopped freezing at that point, no matter how many identical discs were used, so I traded it in for the identical PSP version and finally beat the game. I appreciate your willingness to help.

my brand new fresh outta pack copy froze alot on my just outta the box slim ps2, finally got it beat and everything unlocked and havent played either one since then.
