I just wanted to bump this because if anyone is thinking of jumping back online with it, do it. There are still tons of us Busters online!
shareI'm delighted to report that there are indeed quite a few players still online in 2016. I took the game online - for the first time since I bought it back in '09 - a few nights back and have had an absolute blast. Why not go online sooner? Simple. My internet connection was never stable enough to handle an Xbox Live connection until just a few years ago and I never once considered multiplaying after learning about the PS3 servers going down, having figured that the 360 servers would've died with them.
Over the last three nights I've managed to play at least 8 online games, some of which saw me acting as part of a full four-man team. Highlights of my playtime, beyond playing with a complete team, include unlocking the "Egon's Guinea Pig" and "On The Payroll" Achievements as well as catch my first Most Wanted Ghost, Mad Mad Minimo.
