Another depressing chapter. The monkeys are a piss poor substitute for minorities.

It is amazing how joyless this whole series has been. The originals were made at a small fraction of the budgets of these, but had so much more life in them.

I enjoyed these remakes (if only from a technical standpoint...'DAWN' being my favourite)
But yes, they really piled the analogy on so thick...that frankly they just gave up masking such, by the time 'WAR' came along.

I said in regards to the previous 3 movies, the special effects keep getting better with each movie, but the fun and enjoyment levels keep getting less. So at least at worst we'll get some nice visuals to look at.
