Bruce Willis Is A Mistake
I like his action films, but he's wrong for the part. Willis is typecast for this.
Terry O'Quinn is the better bald man for the role in my opinion.

I think Willis can work, he is or was should I say a pretty fine actor. Sure his career has gone to sh** now and he is doing lots of run of the mill movies.
But as Eli Roth is in this project that pretty much guarantees It wont be a 2 milion dollar budget direct to dvd but some kind of funding behind it?
And Eli Roth is a guarantee for lots of grisly and brutal violence which is what Death Wish 2.0 needs.
So with a budget and some more shooting time I think Willis will work, it is not really a difficult type of role and it is clearly within Willis' range.
Of course there are other actors that might be better as Mel Gibson of course but Bruce should be able to do this.

Director should be Rob Zombie....someone that can make a truly grisly film. Love him or hate him the kill scenes in both Halloween films hit hard. Willis isn't a great choice either....I like Willis and Roth but don't think they fit this material.

Not sure what Eli Roth will do with the concept, I dislike Roth but his movies are very violent so as long as he doesnt try to be smart and attempt to make some kind of ironic humour he should be able to do a violent and decent movie of this

shareI agree. Part of the reason why Bronson was so good. He looked and acted normal Also looked Innocent. You Would not believe a Man that looked that way would be killing Muggers at night. Plus add the fact he would not fight in the Koran war. I mean Bronson was bass ass. but only when he needed to be.
Bruce Willis?? Please he would blow your head off in a second just for looking at him the wrong way.
I think someone like David Tennant would be great in the role. Maybe even Ioan Gruffudd.
