If you've read and loved the novel,DO NOT watch the film.Me and a mate picked it up on dvd and having both read the book, couldnt wait to see the film.Big mistake,bitterly dissapointed.

I agree with that. Saw the film last night and it was very disappointing when compared to the novel. It had a lot to live up to though....

a few major and minor issues with the film.

What annoyed me was that they changed the plot from the book in the screen version.

It started well, up until the end. Changing the plot killed the film for me.
