Was there a sequel or were there any plans for a sequel? I was hoping to see him come back after 3 years after all and save Wickus or help him. Or just show more of Wickus in general.

Yes a sequel would be amazing! If it was a half decent sequel it would totally redeem Neil Blomkamp’s career! Being it on I say. As Blomkamp has (unfairly) been denied a shot at an ‘Alien’ film he should definitely give this a go.

Probably get a remake instead of a sequel at this point :(

That would be extremely disappointing! District 9 is only 9 years old.

It would, but they seem to love remaking films!

Would be absolutely incredible if there was. Especially how District 9 ended. But I highly doubt it.
