I like both characters but I don't like them as a couple.
I think it was wayyyy hotter to keep them as a bantering workplace together - keep the level of 'chemistry' ongoing rather than making them a couple.
Just my two cents.
I agree, Myka and HG should have been a couple. Pete and Myka as a couple doesn't work for me. It looked so forced.
shareI have always thought that had HG been brought in as a regular character after season two the show could have had the three of them in a love triangle which would have made the ratings skyrocket. They instead chose Steve to be part of the group and for HG to only appear rarely ever.

shareI totally agree I liked the Pete & Myka brother/sister relationship better. It actually felt kinda of strange because Myka and Pete were so opposed to it in the first four season, and so into other people. Myka seemed way more into HG and Pete was well Pete with the ladies. Plus, their kiss was so blah, not passionate or even comical. At least they didn't change Steve from gay to bi so he could get with Claudia.
shareI think they only did it cause it was the last ep. Certainly their relationship during the show was much better suited to them then star struck lovers
