its always about money, even if a show has made them money and hype, not to mention the following it obviously had that they would allow it to finsih gracefully instead of the wham bam thankyou mam more and more hows are getting. The worst one was White Collar, sure it started to get worse in later seasons (thats when you need to rely on writers etc who can actually keep it up) but to give it 6 eps in the last season and making one of those filler just seems like they forgot the huge following it had for most of its showing and they just crapped on it. The only thing worse if the endless cliffhanger, especially with shows that become hits after theyre broadcast. This mainly happens sooner, season 1 or 2 but don't the people running these networks realise that sometimes a show has to find its stride, and it helps to advertise properly. It happens so much its depressing.
